When I started the program, I wanted to get my optometry practice running more effectively and feel empowered to move forward with my second business. I also wanted to stop wasting time and have more time for things and people I enjoy. The program was extremely helpful in organizing my practice. I have seen major improvements in the way my office is run. I have also made strides in starting my second business when I had been stagnant in that area for over a year prior to working with Whitney.
I learned that I respond well to accountability and organized action items. Also, so many of us lack the knowledge on how to streamline processes. So, we often waste time spinning our wheels and making things more complicated than they actually need to be. I learned that I was too busy to focus on growing my business. I was being pulled in so many different directions that I had no crystal clear goal. I realized that I had SO many responsibilities to keep my business running that there was no room for me to innovate and scale the business. I also learned that doing EVERYTHING in my business put me in a headspace that didn’t allow me to be creative.
The one-on-one sessions with Whitney and her team and the exercises were truly eye opening. I was forced to be honest with myself and my business. I was forced to face my fears and do the things I kept putting off.
The weekly group sessions were also extremely inspiring. Seeing my peers do amazing things with their business and watching them overcome their fears and insecurities about their business really fueled the fire for mine. The private online community is one of the best communities I’ve ever been a part of! I was able to gain multiple new clients through the community alone.
